Scottish Tartans World Register: Stewart, Ancient
Stewart, Ancient  160

Highland Society No 568 called 'Ancient Stewart' It was made for Stewart of Achnacone by P.J. Haggart, Aberfeldy and as a result became mistakenly called 'Stewart of Achnacone'. Achnacone is part of Appin so is really an Appin tartan. Today it is worn by Stewarts of Appin.
